I truly enjoy working with individuals and couples through my private practice. Previously, I provided psychotherapy and mental healthcare services for clients of all ages at Vesta, Inc., an outpatient mental health clinic located in Silver Spring, Maryland. There, I was responsible for conducting biopsychosocial assessments and intake diagnostic evaluations and providing psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families with mental health concerns and/or chronic mental illness.

I also have experience working as a teacher and guidance counseling assistant for elementary school students in the Montgomery County School System in Maryland. As a guidance counseling assistant, I supported students individually, led small groups for students struggling with social skills, anger management, learning disabilities and anxiety and facilitated classroom lessons on topics such as self-expression, bullying, conflict resolution, coping skills and others.

More about me…

My belief is that I cannot help my clients unless I continue to do my own personal work, have a healthy support system and make time for my own growing, learning, reflection and self-care on a daily basis. Art, dance, Zumba, reading, journaling, mindfulness, quality time with family and friends, and healthy eating enrich my life and keep me energized and balanced.
