Above is one of my favorite quotes on gratitude. It inspired me to write about gratitude in dating and relationships as I truly think it is essential to satisfying connections with ourselves and others. I commonly come back to the idea of gratitude in my writing (see other posts on gratitude here) because it promotes healthy and positive wellbeing and instantly shifts a bad mood into a better mood and a negative event into a learning experience.
In terms of dating, gratitude helps build loving relationships with others while increasing positive energy around you and your date or partner. A grateful perspective also opens you up to seeing the silver lining in a variety of situations, even in a less than ideal date.
