I’m a believer that the relationship that we have with ourselves is by far the most crucial in developing a sense of wellness and healthy connections with others. We understand others through gaining an understanding and awareness of ourselves; we give back to others by learning to take care of our own needs; and when we truly love ourselves, we are able to love others in a genuinely satisfying way.
Life is complicated…It is healthy to view life as is.
It is unhealthy to view life as all good or all bad. Life experiences may be fun, exciting, annoying, frustrating, difficult, enjoyable and anxiety-provoking all at once. It is part of the human experience to feel- we may feel good (positive) or bad (negative) and we are supposed to feel a bunch of emotions in between.
