Are You Ditching Your Friends (and Your Life) for Your Date?

Can you relate to the feeling of being completely energized and excited about a great new man or woman in your life?

It’s a wonderful feeling to find someone you really like. Often this feeling is accompanied with a desire to cancel everything else on your calendar, spend all of your time with this person, ditch your friends and more. Sound familiar?

Although all of the above is tempting, it is healthiest to pace yourself and resist the urge to neglect your life, friends, family, commitments, etc.  It is best for you and your new relationship (and your confidence) if you strive for balance, avoid losing yourself for someone else and refuse to ditch what is important to you. In turn, you will be a healthier, more engaged and attractive partner.
